Earlier in the year and away from work, I signed up for a Summer charity event in my local area. As the name goes ‘The Muddy Dog Challenge’- the event involved completing a 5k muddy obstacle course with my dog, Dexter; to raise money for Battersea dogs & cats home. The obstacles included cargo net crawls, trampolines, swimming pools filled with mud and running through flowing streams; just to name a few!
So we’re already halfway through 2017 and I’m now 4 months into my new position at Peter Bush Communications. Time has flown by! The first week of June was an exciting yet busy one. I helped to organise and attended my first press event- and I’m happy to say it was a great success. After a year and a half at PBC, it was a fantastic opportunity to put some names to faces from both National and International publications.
In April this year I began my next step into extending my education in Marketing since completing my Apprenticeship. I started studying at the Cambridge Marketing College, working towards the CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing. I attended weekly evening classes which highlighted the basic key principles of Marketing.
